Mark Berry, Jr.

Mark Berry, Jr. grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in Kent County. Upon high school graduation, he continued his educational journey at Goldey-Beacom College, in Wilmington, Delaware. From there, Mark earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management, and two Master of Business Administration degrees; one with a concentration in Marketing Management and the other a concentration in Financial Management. He is currently starting the Doctor of Education Program at Bowie State University, majoring in Educational Leadership. Mark is a Spring ‘19 initiate of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., the Delta Gamma Sigma Chapter where he currently serves an Advisor to the Sigma Beta Club and as the Collegiate Deputy Director for the State of Delaware.

Mark is passionate about education. He currently serves as the new Director of TRIO Upward Bound at Chesapeake College. The program helps to prepare high school students for a post-secondary education who are of modest income, first generation, and/or at risk academically.

He enjoys keeping up with the latest fashion trends, shopping, cooking, listening to music, going to church, and spending time with family and friends. Mark hopes to leave a legacy, one in which people feel motivated, empowered, and inspired to be the best version of themselves.
