James Redman
Board Member
James Redman brings to NEA his experience as an elementary school teacher,
administrator and community organizer. James has taught grades 1st – 5th, and he
served as Principal at Prince Street Elementary School, St. Michaels Elementary
School, and both Easton Elementary Schools (Dobson and Moton). James recently
retired from Talbot County Public Schools as a Curriculum Supervisor. He was one of
the founding Board members for both nonprofits: BAAM, Inc. and the Chesapeake
Multi-Cultural Resource Center, Inc. James is currently the Head of School at Polaris
Village Academy in Easton. He is also a member of the Executive Committee for the
Mid-Shore Regional Economic Development Council. Additionally, he finds time to be
involved with his wife and children through traveling. James is a life member of Kappa
Alpha Psi, Inc. He believes that all children should have an opportunity to participate in
enriching learning experiences that honor who they are as people.
